Unfiltered neighborhood branding: turning authenticity into visual power

An energetic and high-impact identity focused on real well-being without pretense. With a close and direct tone, the project steers clear of unattainable perfection to celebrate the everyday effort of a local community gym.

As the original grotesk typeface, Akzidenz-Grotesk brings a solid presence with subtle imperfections that make it feel more authentic than Helvetica. Its firm letterforms drive short messages and strong calls to action: a solid typeface for a real project.

The visual system starts with spontaneous mobile photos capturing everyday gym life. By applying a duotone and halftone screen print pattern, these raw snapshots are elevated into a distinct graphic asset, building a bold, urban visual universe with true character.

We translated the brand’s core values into a high-impact digital experience that avoids overly complex layouts. Information is structured simply so users can access services and pricing without friction. Driven by bold Akzidenz-Grotesk navigation, we differentiated both locations through color coding for instant clarity: blue for Gimnasio Narváez I and red for Gimnasio Narváez II, creating a unified yet functionally organized brand system.

The animation system pushes the brand’s energy further through high-impact typographic movement. By alternating between solid and outlined typefaces, the text creates offset repetition trails that mimic motion blur. This graphic technique captures the speed, rhythm, and intensity of an actual workout.
